Default 5 lug swap

hi my name is mike and my buddy told me he would trade me a full rsx type s 5 lug wheels and all for my rotas with new tires on them i know it is a goo deal but i whant to know is what all i need to do the swap i know roters spindles and that stuff but will the swap work with my sohc cuz i only see it done on k swaped cars thanks and sorry for the spelling i suck at it

U can only do the fronts if ur running a K, or make custom axels( which i think only 1 guy has done)

so the bakes will work but fronts will not unless i k swap darn ok thanks man

U can use a 4 lug Ep3 axel.

no, you can use base rsx or ep3 axles when you go k-series and 4lug.

phew. haha im getting a price quote Via email right now on the complete changeover at my local shop. it might take a while. im guessing around 6g's... i called them like 7 months ago about a k20a swap and it was in between 6500 and 7,000 for that motor so this one should be a little cheaper.

thats what i said. he told me there no big deal. just a drop in snip a wire or two and connect exhaust.

he said there are alot more diffacult things. example big H22 in tiny hatchback

Base RSX are still 5 lug. Only 2002-2003 Ep3 are 4 lug K.

To be honest, it doesnt seem like he knows what hes talking about. There is a LOT more to do than just snip a few wires, i would for sure make him sign a contract or something, with a price of full swap listed, cause he might try to screw u after hes halfway through

i know that, i think the axles are the same, base rsx/ep3. i might be wrong.

this shop has dropped a s2k motor in a 1984 toyota corola and made it a drift car. they do good work. they have like 6 hatches with k swaps
