Difference between 90-93 Teg Linkage and 94-01 Teg Linkage?? nothing!!!! grrr
what does this have to do here in the civic forum you ask??? simple, because it deals with my LS swap in my EG. Everyone kept telling me that the 90-93 teg linkage was different and wouldnt work with my swap.
well you're all WRONG!!!
I already had the linkage from a 91 LS that I pulled along with the swap. Following what everyone said, I pulled the linkage from a 95 LS last weekend and when I set them next to each other they were both the same length, had all the connections in the same orientation, etc.
Only differences is that the 95 linkage has thicker bars with slightly different angles and a differently angled shifter. Also, the 91 linkage actually has the back counterweight in a better position for the back bushing bolts.
anyway, I tried both with the same results and ended up keeping the 91 linkage in the car.
here's the pics of them both side by side. 90-93 on top, 94-01 on bottom:
