Default help

I have a 93 cx, when I bought the car the car came with a broken trim bezel. I dont now the right name for the bezel but, its the one that the radio and climate control holds on to. I recently purchased a new trim piece and tried to install it but, had no idea how to take the old one off. Please help

this is a lot of work....you have two options.

1- rip the remaning pieces of trim off without damaging anything else. Then, glue (or stick) the new one on somehow.

2-pull the dash out of the car and install it from the inside. (about 5-7hours) if you dont know what to look for.

honestly i would reccomend #2

i completed my blue to black interior a few days ago... i problaly spent 17 hours on the whole thing but the diffrence is like night and day(had to install blue int. back into donor car). but heres a list of things to look for:

-remove cig lighter section (4 screws and 1 plug)
-drop steering collum(taking the airbag off first(2 torqx bolts), then 4 bolts holding the colum up along with a yellow airbag connector)
-unplug 3 connectors to the left of the steering collum under the dash
-remove middle defrost vent(from windshield side first) and remove the visible 10mm bolt
-open the door and pop off plastic pieces covering another 10mm bolt
-remove the vent hi-lo cable located on pass. side underdash by sliding it off the black piece that hold it on.
