17s are only 1" bigger than stock (assuming you have 16" alloys) so 17s with low profile tires would look akward. Don't go with the lowest profile you can get, unless you're lowered like 2.5" or something like that.

I concur. I recall the 17" days on my EM2. It was awkward, to say the least.

you could go with 17's and still have a pretty beefy tire with a 215/50r17 which will still look good and not look like you have low profile tires
