Default Code 45: 45 Fuel system too rich or lean

Hello everyone,

before I begin, let me display my engine setup:

B18c1 block
-GSR crank
-GSR rods
-ITR pistons

B18c1 head
-GSR valves
-ITR valvesprings
-2001 ITR camshafts
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-Stock 2000 GSR exhaust manifold
-Stock fuel system with relatively new fuel filter

Ignition
-New OEM replacement plugs, wires, rotor, and cap
-Stock distributer timing position (right in the middle)

ECU
-98 ITR ECU OBD2A (used a obd2b=>obd2a harness)

Maybe 60k on catalytic converter

----------------------------

Ok, so I get code #45. I used to get this code when I had PR3 (USDM B16) pistons instead of my ITR ones, and I'm guessing its the compression. I know my GSR head yields slightly higher compression than a PR3 head, and that my ECU is for ITR. I thinking I should maybe retard the timing a degree or two? what do you guys think?

-------------------------------
edit: Ive been reading and it is a possibility that the primary o2 sensor has gone bad, should I replace it? Where is the best place to buy a replacement?

Time to put a wideband on it and tune it.

you need a tune especially with those pistons and cams.

I would think that my ITR ECU would take care of the "tuning" part since my setup is nearly identical to a ITR setup. My o2 sensor has about 95k...

any more input?
