Skunk2 Pro 1's what cam gears?
im getting a heck of a deal for the Pro 1's cams and valvetrain and i was wondering what cams gears to get, does it matter if i went with the non pro camgears or should i go ahead and get them to match, since im sure they were built with that in mind. Thanks in advanced
Skunk2 cam gears or any others that have 5+ bolts to hold the adjustment setting (avoids slippage) are the way to go. Some gears only have 3-4 bolts which can greatly increase the opportunity to lose the adjustment over time.
If you are installing Pro1's and haven't consdiered bumping your compression, do so in order to maximize the benefits of those cams.

If you are set on using OE pistons to increase your compression, stay away from the PCT (CTR) pistons, they have a horribly obstructive dome and they are not good for flame front and combustion. You can make just as much power using PR3 (JDM B16) pistons, and be a whole point less in compression, roughly 11.5:1 using an OE headgasket.
Anywho, I have been using Skunk2 Pro series camgears, they are the lightest units on the market, and are very strong. I would just go with those.
