has anyone used a volvo turbo for there set up... I was just wondering cuz I see them all the time at junkyards but I was just wondering if there any good.... like power wise... they spool up pretty quick dont they... what kind of power do you think they could make

Depends on what motor you are putting it on and depends on what volvo you pull the turbo from I hink some may be T3s and others are T25s...most will be smaller turbos and yes spool quick, neither would really be good for a B series motor if you are looking to make tons of power mostlikely spool quick and choke the motor in higher rpms, for a D series they would be ideal, espcially for a street car but again not for a high hp application...should look to get about 200-250 out of the T3 and probably a little less out of the T25, get some more specifica info and you will get some better answers

 

i have one off a 850r and it spools great on my ls makes power to 6700 and is awesome for autox or light to light races. but no traction on 12psi
