Default K20 Swap

Will a K20 fit with the USDM front end or do I need the JDM Type R front end to make it fit?

It will work in both. The chassis is the same on both versions

ya i could totally see someone getting confused by that.. most people do have a jdm front with a k20 swap. you rarely see one with a usdm front.

but thats because people who can afford a k20 swap can usually afford a jdm front too.

Thx for the info guys! Im currently saving up for a K20A, but I wasnt sure if I needed a the JDM Type R front end or not. I was hoping it would fit w/ the USDM front end so my DB will be sleeper status.

why do you want to go k20.. just boost your ls or gsr... for now.. and then get a bare k24 bottum and get it sleeved.. build it properly then get a k20 head get that built and then boost the shiet outa it..

I prefer to keep my DB NA. Also because I have about 180,000 mi on the odometer. Its gonna be my daily driver for a couple of years, so I decided to save up for the K20.
