Default hooking up an electronic speed sensor to a cable tranny

I have a Y1 cable tranny that uses a mechanical spedometer. I'm hooking up an Apexi avc-r boost controller and i need to connect it to and electronic speed sensor for the gear function. I can get the sensor from the junk yard but how do i hook it up. any one has wire diagram. i will be monitoring speed with the avc-r.

I believe there is a wire in the cluster that has the signal you need. It probably goes to the ecu. I dont have my crx manual with me but I would look into it more because you may already have it.

Anyway, the left wire is the ground, the center wire is the power, you can splice that from the black/yellow wire junction that feeds most sensors. The last wire is the signal wire.
