If you're still running the dpfi intake manifold and you want to use the mpfi with the minime then yes you'll have to do mpfi swap first. Also that p28 is an ODB1 ecu, since the d15b2 came in the 89-91 dx and lx models I'm assuming your car is OBD0. You'll have to look into an obd0 to obd1 conversion harness.
yea man i know that much im just saying after i do all that will it work
im preety sure it will
(obdo--91 obd1-92-95)
i just wanna know the mods i have to consider, like with the dizzy,i have half the wiring harness for the Y8,just have to replace a couple of sensors..
thanks

For the dizzy if you're using a Y8 head, and OBD1 then you want an ODB1 dizzy from the 92-95 DX the bolt pattern is the same as the Y8 the 92-95 EX dizzy will not bolt up.
If you're planning on doing ODB0 like me, the obd0 si dizzy bolts up to the y8 head

i have a y7 head and im geussing im using the obd1 dizzy, will it work on the y8? (ibought the car like that) do any of you guys know if the P08 head is an actual Y8? or Z6 thanks
why dont u just do an MPFI swap, use your A6 dizzy and PM6 ecu? they all work with the y8 head. and as far as i know the D15 and Y8 mate fine. i cant say 100%, but look at these sites and make up your own mind. you dont need to convert to OBD1.

of course you dont have a d16, but you will need a a6 ECU and intake manifold and dizzy tb... blah blah all that stuff to do your MPFI swap which you will HAVE to do, no matter what. (if you want to use the D15B2 bottom end you have)
Note: the MPFI swap parts dont need to come from an Si, they can come from any D-series MPFI civic/crx/del sol up to like 00 i think... (not 100% sure of when they changed) the dizzy is the only piece that must be from the OBD0 88-91 MPFI civic/crx. the ecus can come from old school integras as well as the injector resistor boxs

I did a Y8 mini-me swap about 9 months ago. I used my D15B2 bottom end...it works fine. Here is a list of everything I got for this to happen: All the Y8 parts(dizzy, intake mani, throttle body, ect..), Y8 head gasket, P28 ECU, OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness, 4 wire O2 sensor, and obviously I converted to MPFI before I did any of this..it made it a lot easier. for the OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness I would recommend http://www.boomslang.us . Just IM me if you need some help or anything
