Pulley kits are indeed worth it. The unorthodox racing kit made impressive numbers on the K20a2. I have the unorthodox racing underdrive set on my 2003 accord and it increased my throttle response noticibly, and thats on a k24a4. There are myths about pulley kits ruining main bearings and stuff like that, unorthodox claims that this does not happen, i myself don't know. I am very pleased with the UR kit and recommend it highly.

For a few bills, it's worth it. Go for it. I noticed faster acceleration throughout the powerband.

i havent heard anything about it on k-series engines , but my friend had an aem pulley kit on his turbo d15 setup and it burnt out the oil pump and no oil cycled and his motor ate ****!

i havent heard any negative feedback for k-series though. i would go with unorthodox its looking to be the more favored one in this situation.

UR ftw.

I have the unorthodox pulley kit it makes difference in your powerband a little quicker. I wouldnt recommend getting the aem pulley kit because it doesnt come with the crank pulley, and thats were your powers at....
