Default Gauge Cluster Plastic

Whats up guys, since i bought my integra there has been what looks like condensation on the window enclosing the gauge cluster. This is quite obnoxious especially when driving in sunny weather, as it makes the gauges hard to see. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this? I worry that all i can do is replace the plastic. Thanks for the help

I can't really tell what that is but did you try some windex and a paper towel?

That looks like someone who used armor all in your car during the summer heat, and didn't care to clean up the overspray on the cluster. Its practically burned in. You'll have to buy a new plastic cover.

cleaning it will leave little scratch marks inside of it. Its best to just get a new one.

as mentioned i dont know what that is ...
can you feel it one the face of that cover....
have you tried you a mf towel and warm water to clean it....
it does look etched but im not sure unless i was there...
well you need to decide are you going to replace it if so before you do i would remove it and try PlastX or Novus or a plactic polish of your choice with a PC better results if not by hand....

Thats probably exactly what it is. Get a cotton ball and try rubbing alcohol if other solutions dont work.

I was speaking out of experience lol It sucks, but **** happens. Replacing the plastic is easy. Should cost ess than 20 bucks for the plastic piece. If its more, go to a junk yard.

Good luck.

just roll around without it.. so you could mess with the needles by hand too.. haha!! j/k.. you could try wet sanding and buffing to see if it'll come out..

I wouldn't have clean it with windex because it could have caused those spots because the same thing happen to me. You don't have to buy a new plastic cover unless u have mad scratches on it. Buy some plastic polish and try to polish the best u can. If that doesn't work use very fine grit sand paper and wet sand it. Then use plastic polish and everything should be good. But the easy way out is just to buy a new plastic piece.
