im looking for wheels
anyone have any good ideas? im not trying to spend G's on wheels.. i want a decent set with good tires.. im thinkin about stayin with the stock 17 size..

Yup DC5-R wheels are the nicest 17s out there.
Check locally, you can get them for $800-$1000 with ok tires. Don't pay more than that, unless they have new tires on them, then it's worth about $1200. (All in CDN funds)

OR, because the OP stated that he doesn't want to spend $1,000+ on wheels, the closest thing to resemble the Dc5 ITR wheel is the Rota Torque. They are great wheels for the price and you can get them in a variety of colors. If you find the right vendor, you could probably pick up a set with tires for $800-900 at most. Just search around and look for a set. There's plenty of vendors on the wheel/tire forums here on H-T that sell rota. Also, look into 5zigen.

Never get your rims repainted, it will chip 10 times faster, nothing can match the factory paint of a wheel, just keep that in mind.
