If my front brakes were converted from oem to aem 13"big brakes and my abs light was on and the negative wire from the abs box under the hood wasnt bolted down, does this sound like i dont have abs anymore?? im just curious because if not im gonna take out the big ol unit and put my catch can and msd box there?? any opinions??

 

take it up to speed -- stomp on the brakes HARD. you'll know if you have ABS if the brake pedal starts to 'flutter' i guess, under your feet. if it doesn't, the brakes lock up and you lose control of your car. no danger there unless you're in tough traffic -- id find a dirt road to test it on to be sure
