Default DX to Si full Conversion!

I have a 88 dx crx with a badly hacked up underdash harness. It has numerous shorts in the harness. I wanted to know since I am goin to replace it anyways can I use a 88-89 SI underdash and engine harness and eliminate the need for the dual point to mpfi conversion for my ls? Will this work? Thanks for the help!

This wont plug into the existing plug that goes from the drivers seat back to the fuel pump and tail lights?

Nope it doesnt unplug its one whole piece...but you can cut and solder maybe the wires that go to the back half of the car (tail lights/fuel pump, etc)...its not that many wires.
