b18 in a EF
I have an EF hatch.. pulled the OBD0 b16 out and the harness is pretty much trash. I just picked up an OBD1 LS motor and want to swap that into my EF. If I'm throwing out my old harness.. What harness do I need to get?
And if I need to get an ODB0 harness, don't I need to change out the plugs to OBD1 plugs? I'm not too sure, just lookin' for help.

ok first and for most when doin wirin in a car you should alway keep the stock harness and work with that...but if it is as bad as you say it is then f-it...i sugess you but a 88-91 Si harness for the swap...make sure you have the resistor and dizzy...it wil make you life much more easier...and another ...keep that b16 head and drop it on the LS...and keep the b16 tranny...that would be a sweet *** swap...and if your talkin about the injector plugs...it would be nice to have mpfi injectors, fuel rail, resistor box, intakemanifold, and a vtec computer for ls ctec
well what model is your hatch? if its an si just get another si harness. if its dx you gota get another dx harness and rewire it to mpfi. set the ls motor to obd0 by using obd0 injectors off the b16 and single wire o2 and get an obd0 dizzy. or convert to obd1 but you gota get an obd0-obd1 conversion harness.

You always want to use the harness that was on the original engine.
