88 crx hf help plz
the engine check light is supposed to come on when u turn the key on if im correct. this one doesnt, and the fuel pump does not kick on so there is no fuel pressure. the car just died when driving it. is it a fuse maybe?? the main relay still has the three clicks too. i dont think the fuel pump just died because wouldnt it have spit and sputtered?? any info will help.
if one blink i believe it is oxygen content that is the problem...if the light doesnt turn on maybe the person who had it before you somehow made it that the light doesnt turn on..."taking out the bulb" some shady people do this and some people dont even look...
One blink means the ECU is good. A solid light on the ECU means the ECU is fried.
Check all your fuses first, then check the fuel pump. I know it sounds stupid but check all of your plugs (i.e. injector plugs, etc) to make sure they're still connected. You should be able to turn the key and hear the pump, it won't always click on but sometimes it will. Usually on the first turn of the day it will.

ive checked all fuses and the pump never turns on. i just wanted to find if there was sumthin easy be4 i go and drop the tank and find its 4 no reason. i was thinking of finding the wire that runs bak to the tank and hook it up to a toggle switch right to the battery. if that works then its sumthin in the system messed up. is there a fuse sumwere in the engine compartment that is for the fuel pump? sum1 sed there was. thx a lot
A better idea - before you go cutting and splicing and hacking up your wiring - is to check for 12v power at the fuel pump connector when the key is turned on.
