Alright so the b16 is still tossing around in my head....
Honda motors is selling the change over for 1,250, but Ill have to get hasport mounts, and linkage sep. so it will prob. be around 2,200. Will the axles from honda motors online work?

Or I can go through import auto salvadge, I emailed larry and he quoted me 2400 for everything, rewired hasport ecu, hasport mounts, linkage, hasport ecu, then the B16, tranny, for 2400....and Ive heard great things about them soo

What should I do?

 

jdmhondaparts.com is selling the mounts and shift linkage for a bargain, with a purchase of a B16...long block is only $475 and maybe another $400 for the tranny. I don't know how much shipping costs and quality of their motors. I heard it varies though. With regards to your 2 choices, Honda Motors Online would be my preference. A couple of my buddies purchased from them and are quite satisfied.

 

i recently bought a first gen b16 from hondamotors and i was pretty satisfied overall but they sent me the SiR intermediate shaft and bad 90-93 integra axles so i had to get new axles and intermediate shaft. i got the hasport mount kit for 350 and linkage for 50 so that was a pretty good deal. better than jdmhondaparts

 

I bought my b16a from import auto salvage. Good motors come from them. My engine look like it was new from the dealer when I got it. I paid $1500 shipped like a year and a half ago. I ran 14.6 with it in my hatch with nothing but an intake and a exhaust in a full interior 90 si hatchback. The egine had a lot of potential. But I sold it and bought a built b18a. Now I'm going turbo with no vtec . Damn I miss my b16a so much.
