OT: My friend wants to finance an R (look inside)
Ok, my friend/roommate owns a CRX but had some frame damage to it and now it's not driveable, which sucks for him..but...his job pays him well and he wants to take over payments on an R, I don't think he cares which color, but I'm sure CW would be his personal choice....Now how do I go about taking over someones payment, he's looking for the R ASAP and his credit ain't so hot
He can take over my payments.... If he also pays me $11k.
I doubt you'll find someone selling an R for just "assume payments." For one thing, most CW are close to being paid off by now, and even the 2000's will have a good bit of their payments made already.
I wish him luck finding one though.
[edit] If he's making change, he can always take out a used car loan with no down payment. Been known to happen [/edit]

You cannot just assume payments. You MUST get a loan, otherwise you won't have a title, can't get insurance, and the rightful owner could at anytime claim the car back.
