03 RSX ACT Clutch swap into 03 Accord K series?
I recently purchased an ACT heavy duty pressure plate and street disc from JHPUSA. The clutch was under "K series engines". The description stated that the clutch needed to be run with a type-s or type-r flywheel.
I have a type-s flywheel on order.
I know that the flywheel will fit the pressure plate, but I'm wondering if anybody knows if the friction disc will match the accord's input shaft spline?
I've searched and could not find any relevant information, and I figured I should ask some RSX ppl.
I called JHPUSA and they said that since my car is also K series the clutch should fit. I believe that all K series clutches should be (in theory) swappable since you could most likely swap a clutch from a B series motor to any other B series motor.
I also knew of a guy who put a CRV friction plate in his EP3, so I'm willing to believe that it should all be readily swappable.
Sorry for the rant i'm just paranoid...
Thanks for the help!!
