stuck on tranny choice and slick size, need some first hand experience please

hi,
im currently stuck in which trans and slick size to go with next year. car will be an eg hatch, motor will be an 84mm lsvtec with a decent amount of boost on pump gas, probably between 400-430whp rev limit right around 8500. now the dilemma:
ls tranny with 22" slicks or gsr trans and or gsr trans and 24.5" slicks.
the car will be street driven a lot(probably between 10 and 15k miles a year), and honestly i hate the gsr trans on the highway. as for the track, i am assuming ill be trapping mid to high 120's and finishing at just about 8000 rpms in 4th gear with both tranny/tire setups.
i guess im just curious if the 22" slicks will be decent for this or will i spin them pretty good? i know what the tranny calculators and such are saying, but im just curious whos doing what at the track. ive never run slicks before just bfg's with my best 60ft only a 2.0 flat, so this will be a complete change

i spent some more time on the calculators, i think that the 23" slick will theoretically have me finish the 1320 at about 7500 rpms, which i dont think is too bad. my main concern might be falling out of vtec on the 1-2 shift, dropping into gear at like 4800-5000rpms. i might have to hit the limiter in 1st a few times real fast to get my mph up a few more......
