I just bought a ACT 6 puck sprung clutch and i'm in the process of breaking it in. I have a problem that i'm hoping is the clutch breaking itself in. When i slow to stop and i at like 2,000 rpm and about 20mph, I push the clutch in and shift to first to be ready for when i stop. Well, at that rpm and speed, it won't let me go into 1st and throws me out. I have to come to almost a stop to put it in first. WTF?

 

I can't easily put my car into 1st unless I am almost stopped.

 

maybe it's a clutch that ain't stock and has only 15 miles on it and it needs to break in. My thought is that it will mess up the clutch. I'm not racing it or anything, just trying to break it in properly.

 

anyone? Plz help
