I think he's referring to the fact that the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 is pretty crappy, for the money. For just a few dollars more, you could have gotten the Kumho Ecsta SPT, which is a MUCH better tire in every possible way.
I also don't know of a single Honda/Acura car for which 215/40-16 is the best size for 16" wheels. It's a real "oddball" size (which is why they don't carry it at the Tire Rack).
And that website is a really CRAPPY dealer, IMHO. You can't specify what tire you want, and when you click on their "recommendations", it only gives you CRAPPY tires like the Kumho 712 and the Falken Ziex ZE-512, and not the really good tires you can get for the same money. What's also bad, I asked for a recommendation for summer tires and it shows mostly all-season tires. And it mislabels some all-seasons as summer tires, and some summer tires as all-seasons.

Hey, don't forget to send in for your $40 rebate. At least you can get $40 back on your purchase of crappy tires!
