Just changed drum shoes and car stinks!!!!!
Ok just i just changed my drum shoes this is the first time i have ever messed with drums. I drove the car for about 30 min and i got out and the car really stinks. I felt the drums and they are hot. The ebrake seems to be really tight. Do i need to do something like adjust the ebrake or what. Or did i do something wrong?
Did you remember to adjust the brake shoes on the drums to allow the drums to spin free when brakes are not depressed? On American cars you need a bit of friction on the drums, but for Hondas the drums must spin free. Also, don't forget to shoot white lithium grease on all moving parts of the drum assembly save for the actual shoe surface itself.
Good luck and let me know how it works out

Well i know that with disk brakes it takes a little for them to set and that you need to pull the ebake a little while driving. So this is what i did when i went out for a drive and now it seems that the drums are not heating up and stinking! So i would say its fixed
