I have 98 hb w/ ls/vtec.today I was driving home(doing 45mph) when out of nowhere my car dies. I throw in back in gear, it takes a min or two to start up while in gear.5min after it starts up,it dies again with no warning what so ever.also noticed that tach n speedo stoped working too.so I pull over this time.Took my key out of the ignition and tryed to start it up again.It started right up,with no prob.I've checked all my grounds,fuses.what else should i check?itd F***in weird!everything seems fine.

 

i had the same problem with my 98 hatch, and it turned out to be a faulty ignition switch. take it to honda, and have them replace it, because its part of a recall. They'll replace it for free
