ball joint or front upper control arm?? help, which do I replace?
When the car is jacked up, the upper ball joint has some play in it. It doesn't "wobble" that much, but there definitely is some play in it. Can I just replace the ball joint or do I need to replace the whole front upper lower control arm? Thanks.

88-89 control arms have welded in ball joints, 90-91 have pressed in with circlips on the bottem. Keep in mind somebody could have swaped them out before so look and see what you have.
