I would like to do a timing belt job, as well as replace preventitive maintainence items 'while i'm in there'. I'd also like to know what brands i should stay away from for things like the water pump/tentioners. I have the 98-01 service manual supplement, pulished by the honda motor co. However other tips from the seasoned guys here would be <U>GREATLY</U> appreciated. I have yet to 'dig into' the motor section of this car, just suspension/brakes/oil changes.

So here is what i have so far, please feel free to add anything i've missed or tell me if its not worth to replace an item on the list, your $0.02/tips ect

SPECIALTY TOOLS?
I hear that i need one for the crank bolt. however can this be removed with a 1/2" 500ftlbs impact gun? I hear its not good to use an impact gun. Perhaps i could use one if i put a block of wood between the crank and the block via dropping the oil pan? or blip the starter w/ a breaker bar attached?
