quick--ignition coil question

i was changin my cap and rotor in my geezr and when i took off the cap it said p73(type r correct?) i still put the rotor in and it fit and runs great, my car is still missfiring though. is it ok to use a p72 coil in that dizzy??

check your plug wires and plugs (they may be fouled out, not properly gapped or just old)

ya i took em out i had some ngk iridium the gap was WAY off and they had white/brown dust on em but thats normal right? i just replaced them with some ngk copper now and some ngk wires
