Sup guys... I was just catching up on a comversation and I was thinking...I can get 200 with cams and Header Exhust MSD Tune..

Then somone posted do a turbo with cams and vtec tranny.......

True Turbo will Blow past 200 fast... But who has the money to do this.. I know that there are alot of turbo's out that people are putting on cars but (I hope that I dont offend anyone) most of them are bought by mommy and daddy... and if they are not bought buy mommy and daddy people are working alot to pay off. I was a EPS Turbo in raleigh and they have some very good turbo kits but very high price.. The Less expensive kits are starting at 2500.00 . Thats alot.. You think...Doing payments on a Turbo kit that is just capleable of 7PSI would take about a year and a half to payoff then you ahve to install tune and replace headgasket,t-belts and hope all goes well. I dont have that kinda of cash laying around to do that Since I'm daddy and have mortage and other bills to pay....

I always keep hearingof people doint turbos and things. I know a guy that I work with that just dropped 4k on a turbo kit for his scion........ WTF HOWWWW..
I guess that I\m just venting.......

All I know is that I have gave up on the Turbo and wil go NC. I have budgeted 1000 for what I need done.. and hopefully that is all that I will need....

well tell you the truth not all ktis run upwards of 2500, ive seen moderate kits for about the 1500-2000 range cause those are closer to what i can afford me being a poor college student. but thena gainy uo can build your own kit by piecing together used/new parts which can run up about 1000. i met up withs omeone before who pieced together a whole turbo kit from various places of used parts and new where needed. and beleive it or not but not everyone's parents are buying them turbo kits, im sure there are handful of kids out there with kits that their parents bought but im sure most parents will frown upon their child wasting their money on a turbo kit jsut so they can go out and race. there are a lot of car enthusiasts out tehre willing to work hard for what they want which it hink is the point in many cases. im only 20 and my parents dont pay for me to modify my car and no many others who do the same.
NC? do you mean NA? if you know what to do with 1k then you can make your car faster, jsut research before jumping into anything.

You can build a turbo kit for about $1000 if you know what to buy and where.
