offset 40, 45? spacers?

offset 40, 45? spacers?
ok first, i have some wheels with a 45 offset. would a 1/4 inch spacer then make that offset 40?
second, would a 40 offset be too wide for a EJ8 with 2 in drop on stock wheel size?
would fenders need to be rolled?

A 1/4" spacer will make the offset 51.35mm.

We'd need to know your wheel/tire size to know if you'll rub or if you need the spacer at all.
