painting side skirts
i've heard of people spraypainting their black plastic rocker panels/side skirts to match their car and i was wondering if anyone has done this. just curious if anyone has done this and how well it turned out. pics of this homemade job would help alot too! thanks in advance!
I did it to my civic, (sorry no pictures). It does wonders for your car. It's very clean looking, like stock ground effects. It looks like you've upgraded your car a trim level.
in my book.

Oh yeah...it's not worth doing at home, especially if your car is not black or white (too hard to match=looks like poop). Most paint shops will do skirts, side mouldings, and front and rear bumper lips for less than $200.
my car is white - but that peeling thing is a good point. if i ever have money to burn then i'll talk to the guys at work and see what they can do for me. thanks!
