Well, i cringe every time i go over a dip in the road, cause im afraid my crossmembers gonna hit and destroy my car. Im getting the high mount one so i can drive in peace and slam the car.

look close right below the bumper.
It looks low, but it doesn't bother me at all. I'm actually about to lower the car more.

The high mount does not clear certain headers be careful before you buy it as it may not clear!

I just installed the standard one on mine as I did not want to run the EG radiator. They say with the high mount that you have to run the EG rad so thats one more consideration.

Its only low if your car is slammed. Also look at it this way, its still higher then the oil pan and alot higher then a Type R header

think of the IM crossmember as a header/oil pan protector
it will knock anything out of the way

unless your header is lower than the crossmember, but if u hit the wrong thing, it will hurt and can expletive something up. i wish mine was a lil higher
