Default Transmission and vibration

1995 manual Accord EX, app 120,000 miles

I just recently had both front tires replaced (first replacements since purchase 2+ years ago) and had the alignment adjusted after having it towed (alignment had caused wear to left front, causing the flat). Within a day, I noticed significant vibration in the shift lever in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears, and pronounced vibration in the front end of the car in 2nd and 3rd gears.
Within the past year and a half, I have had the clutch master and slave cylinders replaced, the clutch itself replaced (due in large part to shoddy work done on the master and slave cylinders), and now the tires replaced and the alignment fixed.

I've been told by the tire shop that the CV axle is binding causing the vibration, and that there could be trouble in either
-output shaft bearings
-final drive

Has anyone seen this sort of problem before? Is this a common problem in Accords, or could that damage have been done during the tow, or by either of the repair shops I've used? Is it just normal wear on the car?

when the inner CV joints sling out the grease the bearings can wear divots in the CV housing and cause a strange vibration.
So if you have the vibration under acceleration and not when coasting it might be worth checking it out.

i have it only d4 (auto) and when i have my foot on the break. My cv boots are ripped, but i was thinking about putting the boots on again and putting grease in them. But is this why my car shakes when i have my foot on the brake sitting still?
