Default LS in EF swap, question about boomslang directions/TPS wiring

I'm damn near done with my LS in EF project, but I'm looking at the wiring for the TPS.

Note:
B18A1 motor
91 honda civic car
Boomslang OBD0-OBD1 DPFI conversion harness
PR4 ECU (92-93 Integra)
--Let me know if you need more information...

Alright, back on topic. The directions for the boomslang harness direct me to take the three wires to the TPS and switch the outer two (yellow/white and green)

I was wondering, though, if I should follow these directions. The conversion harness is to wire in for a VTEC setup. Should the TPS wires be switched ONLY if I'm wiring in a VTEC engine? Or since I'm not going VTEC, should I leave them the way they are originally?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

That's what I'm lookin' for. Hey, mahatma, if you wanna throw me pictures of those vac lines in my other thread, it'd be a huge help.

Also, you mind if I contact you for future questions on the wiring?
For example...my dizzy, I'm trying to wire it in...did you have two white wires coming from your previously used wiring harness?

And as for the harness from Rywire...I thought about it. 350 or 360$ didn't seem worth it...

you must switch the tps wires or your ecu will think its wot instead of being closed.

as far as dist. your 2 white wires are already there, you just need to add wires for crank angle, its 2 wires that should be blu/yel and blu/grn. if you got a obd1 dist, it might be a grn/yel wire on yoru dist side and that goes to the fatter of your 2 white wires. its the white wire that isnt in the shield

i went to snap a few pics for ya, but my gf put the digicam batteries in the charger backwards

the white wires had me stumped for a while too....i had some trouble deciding which one was 'fat' & which was 'skinny', so i ran battery power to them, then tested to see which was which down at the ecu plugs. this thread may help with that

i can get vacuum pics soon if you still need them. i removed the charcoal canister during my swap too, that helps cut down on vacuum lines all together, and hence less confusion

I'd definitly be interested to see this done. Just so long as I can pass the sniffer test, and get the full power from the engine, that's all I give a damn about...

Mahatma, what'd you do with your TCS (tandem control valve) or whatever that thing is that hooks to the back of the old DPFI system. Has a black/yel wire and an orange wire on a white connector...

you dont use the tandem control value or the wires. just leave them hanging or just cut them off and use them for teh swap

Alright, what should I do with the vtec wires? The light blue, green, red, and pink? I think you said you used the Boomslang harness, right? Just wondering what to do with these wires...

I'm getting frustrated with this engine swap...I'm gonna get a compression tester today to make sure all four are getting full compression.

i just ran all the wires through the firewall and i put all the wires in a wire loom. i taped all the wires i didnt use together then taped that to the o2 wires so if i ever decide on going vtec later on, the wires are already thourgh just sitting there waiting

Well, I'm actually located in woodstock for the swap, but I live at the school. You know there's a run tomorrow at 10am at the home depot in dawsonville? Well, that's where they're meeting. I was gonna run, but I'm an exhaust manifold gasket and 3 half-shaft bolts shy...
