Default Need speakers for 95 civic with pioneer deh-4800mp

Hey.. I got the Pioneer DEH-4800mp for my 95 civic as a gift and installed it with my stock speakers. I don't have a lot of money but I need to put in new front and rear speakers because my stocks are completely burned out. Does anyone recommend a specific speaker setup that they have heard that sounds great for a low price? I just want a decent sound.. crisp highs and a noticeable bass, but nothing that's gonna rock the car off of its wheels. If anyone has experimented with cheap 6 1/2's in the front and 5 1/4s in the back and loves the sound, please let me know what I should buy. Thanks!

if you are looking for decent "cheap" speakers.. check out mb quart discus series speakers.. shouldnt be out of your price range and really are not that bad of a speaker.

also take a look at alpine type-s, eclipse entry level, infinity, etc etc etc...

most importantly, go take a listen to some yourself, let your own ears make the ultimate decision

If you are looking to install them yourself and want a plug and play install, look at Eclipse... http://www.eclipse-web.com/integrated/se8365.html

or Infinity... http://www.infinitysystems.com/carau...er=KAP&Cat=MEL they come with adaptor mounting rings.

or Pioneer... http://www.pioneerelectronics.....html

Both the Eclipse and the Pioneer speakers are a direct fit, using the stock speaker mounting holes, the Infinity will require the use of supplied mounting rings. 94

I would look at the Diamond Audio D3 series coaxials. Cheap and a good match for a pioneer hu.

Anything the other two guys recommended will work too

I recently did a little upgrade and installed a pioneer deh-2900mp HU, with pioneer 2 TS-G650M's in the front and 2 TS-G950M's in the back and they sound pretty decent. I'm no audiophile, but they sound a heck of a lot better than stock.
