Hey guys I just came acoss some 4x100 VW Cabrio wheels for free and before I drive 2 hours to pick them up wanted to know if anyone knows if they will even fit my CRX or is the offset to far off I think the are like 42 or 45. Thanks

 

no wrong hub bore...honda 56.1 and vw is 54.1 if i remember right

 

actually the wheels have a 57.1 bore opposed to the civics 56 mm bore so that should work fine. i would really consider trying them on first, though.

are these aftermarket rims or oem rims and what's the diameter?

 

I would think they would fit just fine. Ive got a set of Audi rims on my car right now.Audi 4000 rims...14x6. Fits just fine. Even clears the GSR front brakes.

 

They are OEM 97 Cabrio Rims they are 14x6 4x100 with a 45 offset. I am currently just running my OEM SI CRX Rims and from what my buddy was telling me these are considerably lighter. Thanks for the pics of the audi Rims

 

It should work. Make sure you get the right size rubber for your car. Also, you will probably need different lugs for those rims. And lastly, don't be fool by the weight reduction of your rims, you won't see crazy performance differences.

 

tock honda lugs work..because the vw wheels use ballseat lugs as well

 

What he said is good. I used stock honda lug nuts til I got a set of locks. I havent had any problems with them at all. I just wish they were bigger.
