Anybody in the Bay Area who has done the S2K antenna conversion?

Need to know how your radio reception is.

I have the antenna sitting on my table, I'll get a round to it eventually.

 

I talked to some people that have it and I hear it is not good. I had the same problem with the internal antenna I put it, but the recepetion is much better when I installed a splitter I got from Radio Shack and now I have the internal antenna and the stock antenna (which does not go up,I disconnected the remote wire).

 

reception is good in some areas...and crappy in others.
even when i'm at a stoplight with GOOD reception... if a car is next to me at the right place... my reception goes
in the end it's fine w/me... i dont really listen to the radio..and it looks a lot better. thinking of getting it shaved... but i think they would have to repaint the entire piece
