has anyone ever seen or actually attemped putting in a 94+ teg dash in a rex? I was thinkin about doing it lately an would like to know the rate of difficulty.

you can get the front seats to fit but the rear is another story... that's the very hard part that requires some creativity. fot the rear seats the back portion should fit ok but the it's the bottom part that you sit on... it's not the right size.
i asked this question a few months ago, got decent amount of replys,... if you want just look back maunally cause i posted it about 3 months ago.

 

Funny you ask.
i have a type R dash on my CRX.
It fits inside the car just fine.
The dash needs to be trimmed along the sides to make it fit right along the windshield. It will not line up with the CRX door panels, not even close.
None of the CRX dash brackets will line up with the integra dash. You have to make your own.
You cannot have the AC vents line up with the CRX AC.
Basically you can put it in, but that's about it. It woks for me since my CRX has absolutely nothing under the dash, no AC, no fan, nothing.
it looks awesome though.

 

i had a gsr dash in and it looked awsome untill you open the doors so i went back to stock 90-91 crx dash with the GSR cluster. the door panels have to be cut untill the defrost for the side windows, and the heat only comes out of the defrost and the floor, i had the climate controls and all the buttons working other then the rear defrost, oh yeah, the ignition is in the way a bit but once its in it looks great! i'll try to get pics of my frineds 91 with an r dash in it for you

 

does a GSR cluster just plug into a crx/civic dash? they looked quite a bit different to me.
do you have a pic of this?
