Default What are 16'' Forged Emotions worth these days?

I have a chance to buy a set of 16'' Forged Emotions.

What are they worth these days? I think theirs about 10 sets in the USA. I cant remember what the last set sold for, but im thinking 1,500$ or 2k$ is about right.

Any opinions?

Im pretty sure the only way to get these was from OPAK when Spoon sold them to OPAK for US distribution. Seriously though, theirs only around 10 sets. The ones that were on the SPOON #95 racecar made it to the east coast, but they were warped some how.

The set I might buy is pretty mint. Id powdercoat them white though, get some SPOON calipers and new rubber and call it a day if I can get them for the right price. over 2k is alot for them I feel, no matter how rare they are.

Are you going to pick up Will's wheels? I just saw them this week, he said he's going to get another front and rear wheel and will sell all 6 of them as a set. I know of 6 sets that have been floating around here. All from the west coast.

Francesco, beacause I'm drunk and curious right now... how much of your habit are your parents funding? I get the impression that you're pretty young. Not trying to be condescending, just curious.

Parents contribute 0% to any of the mods

I work two jobs, bring in around 400 - 500$ cash a week. No bills except car payment, cell phone, credit card. You gotta remember, this is my second s2000. I had my first one at 18, I put half the money down myself, traded her in for the current ap2.

Frank

I purchased the Gold Emotions from the Spoon #95 car from medicalstudent on S2ki for $1300 shipped with tires. He said that they were damaged in shipping when he got them, BUT he had them repaired. I sold them for a set of White 17" cast Emotions/tires + $300, and now I think the guy who got them from me sold them for ~$1700.

I would say that a very good condition set would be around $2k.

I wouldn't pay more than 1500 for these wheels. Only thing they're good for is to run spoon calipers

BTW, your parents are the reason why you don't have anything other than a car payment, cell phone, cc. I'd say thats a little more than contributing 0%. You youngs guys need to stop being so proud of yourselves and bragging online about how many non-skilled labor jobs you work.

I love the people that like to break peoples nuts because they work hard for what they want. Its such a crime.

Im lucky enough my parents let me live at home so I dont have to pay overhead and only have the bills that I have.
