gauges go crazy

i need help with my accord. i was driving around and out of nowhere my gauges just went crazy. i kept driving and as soon as i turn on my lights my car stalls. i think its my alternator but i'm not sure. can anybody help me out.

open the hood, look for the little underhood sticker that says WHAT YEAR the accord is.
