Default 97 civic keeps dying?

My friend is having problems starting is 1997 civic.
He took the battery in and it was drained. They recharged it and said it was fine. we can't find anything noticable that could be draining the battery.. anyone have a clue as to whats draining it? is it just a bad battery? thats what we think but they checked it and said it was fine.
thanks in advance for your help

Get the Alternator checked out and make sure the 2 wires that are screwed on to the fusebox by the battery are screwed on tight.
