i did something similar a couple years ago. i eBay'd a brand new ITR LSD transmission, about $1760 shipped cross-country from curry acura in new york. sometimes there is that secure feeling that you bought it new, so there is no history-mystery.

the only shitty thing is, you must depend on the dipshits at UPS, who in all their greatness, managed to drop my tranny from the truck to the curb when they arrived. who knows wtf else happened on the way. I had to get one of the motor-tranny bolt holes re-tapped cuz they flat-sided it when they dropped it. *******.
