Default Smooth riding lowering springs? EK

A friend of mine wants some springs for his EK that will lower it quite a bit but retains a somewhat soft ride (factory suspension). What would you guys recommend?

I dont know how to read spring rates so searching is useless.

well tein tech S offer a slight dop (just over 1.5") and with tokico HP shocks offers a very nice ride. I had that setup on my old EG hatch and liked it a lot...till I wanted to go lower.

As for spring rates, lower the better, if you want a stock feeling ride

Get a progressive spring IE Neuspeed or B&G if a soft ride is what your after. Tein rides on the firm side and is linear.

Hm I thought tein was progressive...

Anyways, I have AGX/GC and it rides pretty smooth.. but then again, my shocks being on the hardest setting doesnt bother me at all so i dunno
