i was just posting so that anyone who has jun products and if they have any problems with it, to call JUN USA they helped me out big time. I had a retainer that completely destroyed on me, and toasted my whole motor. Another worthless post

the retainer, i had another motor that I used. What could they really do for me? Its a performance part, there not obligated to replace anything, but they did and hooked me up with a few more things.

What about the motor? You still had to pay to get it fixed... or for parts atleast.

So the point of this point is a heads up to warn us that JUN retainers have been known to fail. Also when JUN parts cause you to ruin your motor, you'll get a replacement for the part that failed and a pat on the back from JUN?

EDIT: I mean JUN does nothing in the way of replacing the motor which their parts ruined? I can see breaking parts, but not breaking parts due to malfunctions of faulty parts.

all retainers take a beating, look at any titanium retainer after 20,000 miles with big cams. There should be alot of wear. You think any performance company is going to replace a whole motor? They warranty their part most of the time not your engine.

who said I needed to back it up with any info, I was posting for future dealings or insight. I got new retainers, and they are hooking me up with an ECU and harness.

Well, they replaced my broken cam, replaced my eight bent valves and threw in all the machine work including a 3 angle valve job for free. How is that for customer service

That is more like it, but getting free retrainers for blowing up a motor does not sound like good customer service at all

Craig - Who hopes he never has to call toda customer service

That's odd, being that people here were running just the JUN II intake cam w/o the exhaust cam.

Though when I visited JUN the people there were very helpful. I fondly remember Ryan's 97-007 ITR (RIP).
