90 ACCORD wont start HELP!!
I have a 1990 Accord EX that was runnin fine and then it just wouldnt start. I thought it was the battery because it looked in bad shape so I replaced it and it cranks but still doesnt start. Any ideas? Anything would help??
thats next on my list, it sounds to me likes there not enough spark to make it start but the car belongs to my gf grandma so haven taken a full look at it but just trying to get ahead of the problem
When you DO ACTUALLY get to the car, turn on the key and listen for the fuel pump to run for a few seconds. How many miles on this creampuff?
When was the T-belt replaced? Has it stripped some teeth?
Check for spark to the plugs, if not, Use a test light to see if the ignition switch is putting power to the Black/yellow wire at the dist. while cranking.
If you have power to the dist. the most likely problem is the ignitor, with the coil running a close second.
