As far as finding the gauge you are looking for, you can try some of the different sponsors of Honda-Tech. I'm sure you have notice the different ads on top of your page while you navigate through here. You can also try the search option and look for any of them being sold by members in here and you might get a good deal. I did a quick search right now and I found this one, just as an example.

The more you look around the more info you will find and the more options you will have available to you, as far as where to purchase an item.
By the way just because your engine had 12000 miles it doesnt mean it wasnt modified. Some people do some crazy things as soon as they break in their cars. So dont let the miles fool you.

Now if you check out that link that he posted, there is a USDM ITR Cluster for 250. Is that enough to bust yer ballz? Just PM the seller and tell him you want it. You'll pay for it and he'll ship it to you.

Hmmm ... it is for a JDM B18C ... previously I was calling it a C5 but have had the blessing of learning from some kind people. LMAO My understanding is that the diameter of the face is the same and that is all I wanted. Don't want the whole cluster. I also understand that the tach itself is the same just where the red line is located changes based on the engine model. Not so? Thanks ... Bob

Well you can always check on eBay for a JDM Cluster, but the tach is just the tach. You aren't interested in the speedo, so the MPH vs KMPH doesn't matter. The only different on the tach of the USDM vs the JDM is the color of the needle. USDM being red and JDM being yellow.
Now if you are looking for only the tach, not many will part out a cluster and just sell a tach. But if you insist on getting only the tach, here is a brand new one straight from the dealer, check out #10.

Hey Blitz, Thanks for that link ... yes that IS the 8,200 RPM redline tach face I am looking for and not the whole cluster. I would much prefer an 8,400 if possible. Ideas anyone? Thanks all.
You guys are great! I went to that site and saw the price .
LOL .. problem is I can't tell what the red line is and 8,400 ... THAT'S what matters to me. Thanks.

I think JASMA makes just the tach with a 8400RPM redline. If you arent looking for the speedo then you should be ok. The red line is painted on with a gold and farbon ciber outline if I remember correctly.
good luck!
good luck!

Contact him and ask him about the item you are looking for. To be honest I'm not sure if Acura sells that piece alone, but I'm thinking they should.
