my car is a 93 eg hatch automatic.
the swap is from a 91 LS manual.

the vss from the 91 cable tranny wont work with my car's speedo cable.

so what I did was take the vss from the automatic trans and put it in the LS cable trans.

only thing is, I have it all ghetto-rigged in there holding it in place and it doesnt feel like it will stay very well.

what do I need to do in order to fix this properly??

also, I'm assuming my speedo will be off since I didnt swap the vss gears out??

also, do I need to swap the gear from the old ls cable vss onto my civic vss??

I have access to a manual d-series vss from a 94 civic as well if that's what I need.

ok, so according to that thread, I need a 92-95 d-series manual VSS at the minimum. Guess I'll have to grab the one off the other car this weekend.

anyone know if I have to swap the vss gears out for the b-series one??
