Default Cracked bumper

To aviod smashing into the back of someone I had to take an alternate route into a ditch on christmas. My beloved car has taken some damage.

Any suggestions how much this would cost to fix, the front part of the lip kit has not been damaged, but I don't know if you can reinstall it after it has been ripped off.

the bumper has 2 cracks in it and when you open the passenger side door it rubs where hinges are.

Not sure if the wheel is mess up or anything to do with the suspension, but it does pull to that side a bit now.

do dealerships do repairs like this? I prolly need a new bumper and tons of other ****....

This sucks

Not really an expert or anything but it sounds like your alignment could be messed up. And that's gettin off easy. It could be alot worse. Don't know about the other stuff though. Doesn't look like there's any frame damage though.

Call your insurance file a claim
bring it to the dealership for the work

eat the deductible.

New bumper, painting, blending
( he also said he does has trouble closing)
which means things could be bent
possible underacarriage issues, realignment etc etc etc

fix that for 250 and i'll give u a reach around.

Yes
99.9% of Insurance companies will accept a dealers estimate for a claim.

I am going to take it in when I get back from colorado. If it is under 1k then I'll just pay for it myself, but if it's something crazy like 4k....then that's why we have insurance.

I have never made an insurance claim, does it go on your driving record that I got into an accident?

No, but it may raise your deductible pending your insurance company.

I f-in love USAA. It's not just insurance bro.... low interest loans, excellent checking account programs.... blah, anyway, yeah, premium doesn't go up, but deductible may.

Yep. it's awesome. Progressive quoted my chic 175/mo. just for her car. USAA was that much for my Si AND her car together full coverage. And i'm not even 25 yet. Neither is she. Can't beat that!
