B16 clutch cable
I was messing around with my clutch cable and it seems like it is to long in a crx....so I have heard the integra one is shorter can some one tell me if it is true if I need the integra one? also I was wondering how the hell do you hook up the speedo cable?
Im assuming your in the process of installing a b16 in your rex? I installed my b16 using the stock crx clutch cable, and it worked fine. The speedo cable just fits right into the top rear of the transmission. It just slides right in, and then there is a small metal piece that looks like a bent paper clip kinda of that clips in to prevent it from coming out. If you have power steering, the lines are on the same assembly that the speedo cable fits into.
i didnt have the clip on my speedo cable so once it was in there securely i just taped it up mreal good...never had any issues of it coming out...lol i even had a hell of a time taking all the tape off when i dropped the tranny....
just make sure its in all the way or the thing inside can get twisted off

The clutch cable from an integra is a different part number, in fact I'm pretty sure that the EF clutch cable is the shorter of the two...
with higher mileage cars like our EFs its not unusual for the clutch cable to be stretched. Get a new one for an EF, its like $35 shipped.
