Default Product review: B+G/B&G springs 90-97

I had quite a bit of trouble looking for information about these springs. So i decided to pick them up since it was a good price and give them a try. This is here mostly for future reference/opinions/options/etc. If this is in the wrong section forgive but i just thought that since it related specifically to Accords, and did involve some tech then...

Anyways as i said i decided to pick these springs up from work. Since the eibach springs had to be special ordered and i couldn't wait, it was the a choice of Dropzone or B+G. for reference issues or to find the part, the part number is :
28-1-012 (i believe...its 5 in the morning...)

I went on my instincts and bought the B+G because i was tired of the clunkiness of sleeve type coilovers. The drop was 1.6" compared to my massive 4" inch drop...

On to the specifics:

Ride quality was decent. I coupled the springs with stock shocks so handling wasn't improved much. The springs alone are EXTREMELY soft. As in spring rates are loooowwww....which is a On hard turns my mudguards rub against the ground. I'm hoping new aftermarket shocks such as AGX's or Yellows will solve the problem. Until then review will remain the same Other then that on normal driving experiences the progressive rates actually smooth out the ride very well. I must say it rides very OEM.

+Very smooth ride. Good price. Decent quality from a well known (european anyways...) company.

-Springs are soft on stock shocks. And ride height is incredibly low Pics for reference tomorrow.

*Day pics soon, just for reference

haha its still too dark outside, i have before pics (of the car slammed. literally.) but i just installed the springs 2 days ago I actually work for a NW auto parts distrubutor so i get a good discount on parts. The retail price was $280, but i bought them for $120. Haha i didn't think anyone in the accord forum would wake up early enough to even notice this thread. hahahaha

depends, usually stuff we don't have on hand or in the warehouse has to be priced first before we can buy it. So special order items need to go through some sort of process before we get an employee discount. but im guessin it will be a good price considering the discount i got on the springs alone.
